The Trial

You get full access to your own Komunzy account — the same platform your paying customers use — for 14 days. That includes the CRM, pipeline, email and SMS automations, booking calendar, unified inbox, and reporting dashboard.

There's no watered-down "demo mode." You can connect your real contacts, run real automations, and see real results before you commit to a plan.

No. You don't need to provide any payment details to start your trial. Simply sign up, and your account is ready to use immediately.

If you decide to continue after 14 days, you'll choose a plan and add a payment method at that point.

Your account is paused — your data is preserved and nothing is deleted. You'll receive a reminder before the trial ends so you have time to decide.

If you choose to subscribe, you pick a plan and your account activates immediately, with all the work you did during the trial still in place. If you don't subscribe, your account stays paused until you're ready, or you can ask us to delete it.

Yes. Just reach out to us before your trial ends and we can extend it. We'd rather you make the right decision than feel rushed.

Data & Safety

Yes. Komunzy is built on enterprise-grade infrastructure with data encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Your account and your contacts' data are logically isolated — nobody else can access your data.

We don't sell, share, or use your data for any purpose other than running your account.

Data is stored in secure cloud infrastructure with redundancy and regular backups. If data residency in a specific region is a requirement for your business, please contact us and we can discuss your options.

We've designed Komunzy's data handling practices with these frameworks in mind. We act as a data processor on your behalf — you remain the data controller for your contacts, and you retain full ownership of your data at all times.

For businesses with specific compliance requirements, we recommend reviewing our Privacy Policy and reaching out to discuss any particular obligations.

Yes. You can export all your contacts, conversations, and records from your account at any time. If you choose to cancel, we'll confirm deletion within 30 days, and nothing is retained for marketing or other purposes.

Connecting Your Tools

Yes — Komunzy connects to WhatsApp Business API, which allows you to send and receive WhatsApp messages directly within the platform. This requires migrating your number to WhatsApp Business API, which we guide you through during onboarding.

Note that once a number is registered on WhatsApp Business API, it cannot simultaneously run the standard WhatsApp Business app on a phone. For most education businesses, this is a straightforward transition — but we recommend doing it once you're ready to commit, not during the trial itself.

Yes. You can connect a Gmail account or configure sending from any custom domain email address. Once connected, emails sent through Komunzy appear to come from your own address and arrive in the unified inbox alongside SMS and WhatsApp messages.

Key integrations include:

  • Google My Business — manage and respond to reviews directly from Komunzy
  • Facebook & Instagram — receive DMs and ad lead forms in your inbox
  • Google Calendar — sync bookings and appointments
  • Stripe & payment gateways — send invoices and collect payments
  • Zapier / webhooks — connect to hundreds of external tools if needed

Both options work. Most customers embed Komunzy's lead capture forms and booking calendar directly into their existing website. Komunzy also includes its own website builder and funnel builder, so if you ever want to create dedicated landing pages or trial sign-up pages without a developer, you can do that too.

Switching & Migrating

For most education businesses, the core migration is a contact import — which takes under 30 minutes if your contacts are in a spreadsheet or CSV. Komunzy has a guided import tool that maps your existing fields to our CRM fields.

More complex migrations (from another CRM, moving automations, etc.) take longer but we help you through it. Most customers are fully operational within their first week.

Not at all — this is the most common starting point. Komunzy is specifically designed for businesses at this stage. You can import your spreadsheet contacts in one step, and connect WhatsApp so all incoming messages arrive in one inbox.

You don't need to abandon WhatsApp — you'll just respond to it through Komunzy instead of switching between your phone and admin tasks.

Historical messages from WhatsApp and other tools cannot be imported — they stay on those platforms. New conversations going forward will be captured in Komunzy. Your contact records, notes, and custom fields can all be brought over during migration.

Yes — many customers run in parallel during the trial period. You can test Komunzy's automations on a subset of new enquiries while keeping your existing workflow intact, then switch over fully once you're confident. We recommend this approach if you have an active student intake period coming up.

Plans & Billing

Komunzy bills in your local currency — HKD for Hong Kong, SGD for Singapore, and AUD for Australia. Pricing is shown in your currency on the plans page, and your invoice will reflect that currency.

No contracts. All plans are month-to-month and you can cancel at any time from within your account settings. There are no cancellation fees or penalties.

Each plan includes a monthly bundle of messaging credits used for sending SMS and WhatsApp messages. The amount varies by plan — Starter plans cover light outreach; Growth and Enterprise plans cover heavier automation sequences.

You can see your credit usage in the dashboard at any time. If you approach your limit, you'll receive a notification and can top up at any time. Credits reset on your monthly billing date.

Yes. You can upgrade at any time and the change takes effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. All your data and automations are preserved when you change plans.

Yes. Tax-compliant invoices are issued automatically and available from your billing dashboard. For Singapore and Australian customers, GST is applied where required under local regulations. For Hong Kong, no GST or VAT applies.

Yes. You can segment contacts by programme, year group, class, or location using custom fields, tags, and pipelines. Your Growth and Enterprise plans support multiple team members and more complex multi-programme setups.

Yes. Komunzy supports Unicode characters throughout — your email, SMS, and WhatsApp templates can be written in Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, or any other language. Most Hong Kong and Singapore customers run bilingual templates (English + Chinese) for parent communications.

Yes, though Komunzy delivers the most value when you're handling a consistent volume of new enquiries and want to automate your follow-up and re-enrolment reminders. If you're at a very early stage — fewer than 20 students, enquiries handled personally — you may find the Starter plan covers everything you need, and the platform grows with you as you scale.
